1. The working principle is different:

The diaphragm pump relies on the reciprocating motion of the connecting rod to drive the diaphragm to deform to suck in and press out the material.

The plunger pump relies on the reciprocating movement of the plunger in the cylinder to change the volume of the sealed working chamber to realize oil suction and pressure.

2. The price/performance ratio is different:

Diaphragm pumps are simple in structure, small in size, light in weight, relatively cheap in price, and maintenance costs are low.

The plunger pump has complex structure, high price, high environmental requirements and high maintenance cost.

3. The requirements for the purity of the conveyed material are different: Diaphragm pumps can convey impurities and viscous materials, while plunger pumps have higher requirements on the cleanliness of materials.
