The Main Steps of Hot Melt Marking Paint Marking Construction
Hot-melt marking is to heat the hot-melt marking paint in a hot-melt machine. It is also called thermoplastic road marking paint. After melting, the temperature is controlled between 180 degrees Celsius and 220 degrees Celsius, and it is fully stirred for about 10 minutes before coating. Cold coating and scribing is a method that can be applied directly without heating the paint, also known as normal temperature scribing. Hot-melt marking is generally used on road surfaces, or cement surfaces, asphalt parking lots. However, as people pursue improvement, epoxy floors have been widely used in parking lots, and epoxy floors cannot withstand the high temperature of hot-melt markings, so most of the current parking lots use normal temperature markings.
The main steps of hot-melt marking paint marking construction are as follows:
Close the construction site to prevent the marking line from being damaged if it is not finalized, and protect the safety of the construction personnel.
Clean up the construction site. This is an indispensable step in all marking construction. After all, the debris on the ground will affect the quality of parking space marking. (Cleaning work can be done with a sweeper, hair dryer, broom, etc., depending on the situation)
Stakeout, use pre-marking water line machine for setting out the waterline in the pre-order work of the marking construction. It can mark the pre-marking freely according to the requirements of constructions to avoid faulty marking. Also can accomplish 1-3 lines independently which greatly improves the construction efficiency.
Heat the hot-melt marking paint, pay attention to the temperature not being too high or high or low, 180-220°, otherwise it will affect the quality of the marking and the color of the marking.
Paint construction (key step), pay attention to whether there is any problem with the marking tool, and whether the material is not normal.
Check and accept the construction results, and repair the unexpected parts.
