Description
High pressure water blasting road marking removal machine is also called hydro jetting road marking removal machine, it is used to strip away unwanted or obsolete lines and symbols from road surfaces. It involves the use of high-pressure water jets that can forcefully remove paint, thermoplastic, epoxy, runway rubber and other road marking materials without causing significant damage to the pavement.
However, there is a much more effective approach to line marking removal, which we utilise here at Hydroblast. With the use of high-pressure water jets to remove road markings safely and efficiently. No matter the colour of road markings, our expert machines are able to propel water jets backwards and forwards to remove all line markings. And simultaneous vacuum recovery allows for the application of new markings.

Advantages
- Environmentally Friendly: Hydro jetting is considered to be an environmentally friendly method because it does not use harsh chemicals and, in many cases, the water used can be collected and filtered for reuse.
- Efficiency: The process is relatively quick and can remove large areas of road markings in a short amount of time compared to traditional grinding or shot blasting methods.
- Surface Preservation: Because hydro jetting uses water, it can be less abrasive to the road’s surface than mechanical methods of removal. It is less likely to leave grooves or scars, which can otherwise damage the road and affect driving comfort and safety.
- Versatility: The pressure of the water jets can be adjusted to suit different types of road surfaces and markings. This makes hydro jetting suitable for a variety of removal tasks, whether on highways, airport runways, or parking lots.
- Safety: When performed by trained professionals, hydro jetting is a safe method for removing road markings. However, precautions must be taken to manage the high-pressure equipment and to protect operators, as well as to control traffic around the work zone.
- Preparation for Resurfacing: Hydro jetting not only removes old markings but can also help to prepare the road surface for repainting or the application of new markings, ensuring better adhesion and longevity of the new material.
- Waste Management: The process generates waste composed of water and the removed paint or marking material. Proper collection, disposal, or recycling of this waste is important to prevent environmental contamination.
